Megan Uhaze-Wear : studio 18
Megan is a Trenton based artist, who received her BFA from Moore College
of Art and Design in Philadelphia, majoring in Art History as well as
Two-Dimensional Fina Art Painting. She currently works as a full-time
artist and painter for The Seward Johnson Atelier. Her work is primarily
painting, working on wood board as well as Masonite panels and other hard
found surfaces. Her work is about the exploration of colors, and their
relationship to one another, invoking this trough pattern and design and
then incorporating her subject into the mix. Her current body of work is
"Species." This series focuses on different endangered species, to bring
light to their condition. She has previously exhibited at the West
Windsor Arts Council, the DR Greenway Land Trust Gallery, Ellarslie
Museum, Mercer County Artists, Artworks Trenton and many solo shows at
Trenton Social.
